| I haven't thought about Xanga in months. I think everyone who used to actually read this is now on Facebook. As am I. I should probably offer some form of an update. Still in my own apartment in Malone. Still a full-time student at North Country. I'll have my A.A.S. in Business Administration in May. I'm also interning for the Department of Labor as a volunteer income tax preparer. I'm actually understanding the tax system. Kinda spooky. Still working at the pool store. I might be putting in some time at Bokie's again this summer. We shall see how that goes. AND I have a new car. Well, it's a '97. But a verrrry nice '97. Unlike my last car (which I hear has officially died by now...), this one doesn't overheat crossing town during rush hour. Verrry nice. :D That's pretty much it. Other than the fact that I am insanely busy and have absolutely no free time, I guess life is pretty much good. Leave a comment if you read this. I'm curious to see who actually uses Xanga anymore. | | |
| For the past I think month, every spare moment of my time has gone into homework. It's starting to wind down. Friday and Monday are going to be my big Finals days. I "hope" to be all done with the semester on Monday. Unless my wonderful art teacher makes us all come in on Wednesday. That would really annoy me. lol Followed by two glorious, fun-filled days in Pennsylvania. Followed by working full-time for 3½ months. It'll be nice to just have work to worry about. Followed by another exciting school year. Followed by Graduation. Followed by who knows.... | | |
| I'm still here. Somewhere. lol I'm in my own apartment. If you're ever in the area, let me know and I will give you directions. God is good. Even when I'm a brat to Him, He still blesses me beyond what's reasonable. It boggles my mind to sit back and just contemplate what He's given me. I have the most amazing friends who help me and look after me. All of the beautiful furninshings in my apartment were given to me. I have a job that I love and can pay my bills and have [some] money left over. And I'm [almost] caught up on my homework. lol Life is good. Really, really good. | | |
| 'Kay, back in December, I had dinner at McDonald's with a friend. I paid for that meal with my debit card. However, They still haven't taken their money out of my account. Today, I was examining the receipt and noticed that the last four digits of the card number on the receipt do not match those on my card. Translation: when they scanned my card at McDonald's, they somehow picked up on someone else's account number. Now, I get to go back to McDonald's and explain what happened and hope that they don't think I committed some kind of fraud. Life sure can get interesting... | | |
